Bible Verse:
Luke 12:47
And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and
prepared not himself, neither did according to his
will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
Are you prepared?
One of life’s greatest gifts is an unexpected
but wonderful opportunity. The difference, however,
between success and failure lies in whether we are
prepared to act on the opportunity or not.
I’ve often heard that there is no excuse for
not being prepared. Because we never know when our
chance will come, we should spend the interim shoring
up resources and information for when things do
happen. Being prepared is simply being ready. We
must do our homework and our research and be equipped
at all times for the unexpected.
The Lord is coming back for a people who have wisely
used the meantime that He has given them to prepare
themselves and those around them for future events.
We must make every effort to be ready now for what
is to come. All the necessary resources and information
is available to us in His word, we just have to
make use of it.
The Lord is also preparing a place for us in Heaven
as He promised. Let’s ensure when the time
comes that we will not be found wanting, but prepared
and standing ready for what lies ahead.
